One of the first things, man did, was tell stories.

Stories are an important part of every individual. They make us love, laugh and cry, and they shape the way we see the world. Stories create a sense of unity with other people, and they fill the spaces between us with meaning. Stories can also shake our common ground, make us see the world in a new light and force us to change our opinions, our actions or our lives.

We tell these stories.

Odyssé make events and happenings that are strongly focused on storytelling and mythologisation of the urban space. We use narrative and interactivity to involve the participant, so that he or she becomes an active part of the story. Engaging yourself in our way of storytelling means an intense experience; you contribute to both creating the story and making it unfold.

An odyssey is an eventful journey; a story that expands the horizon of the person involved. You return from an odyssey with experiences that enable you to see the world in a different light.

Odyssé consists of three elements; together they create this journey:

  • Storytelling
    • which awakens the interest of the participant and leads to …
  • Involvement
    • which creates understanding, confidence and unity, and which enables …
  • Mythologisation
    • creating a room for new thoughts, bigger dreams – and more stories
